Former ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA Singer's STARS DOWN To Play Hollywood
June 13, 2008Former ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA singer, Toronto native Lukas Rossi, will debut his alt-rock band called STARS DOWN on Saturday, June 21 at the Viper Room (8852 W Sunset Blvd.) in West Hollywood, California. STARS DOWN is comprised of Rossi, drummer Jon Jamieson, who is also Lukas' childhood friend and former CLEAVAGE bandmate, and bass player German Briseo. Talented keyboardist Lou Dawson, who faithfully endured 36 sold-out shows across Canada, also makes occasional guest appearances with the band.
The band will perform songs from its debut album, "Mood Swings", scheduled for release in late summer/early fall 2008.
Rossi just reunited with ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA for the filming of a show for the Discovery Channel called "Battleground Earth": a benefit concert for the Griffith Park wildfires. The live show featured an all-star jam with artists such as Ludacris, Tommy Lee, TRAIN, Ziggy Marley and Slash, to name a few.
"Battleground Earth" is scheduled to air on October 15, 2008.
